Principal's Message

Welcome Back, Eagles!

 

Dear Encinita Families:

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! I am truly honored and excited to join the Encinita community as your new principal. I can’t wait to get to know our amazing students, parents, and staff and to work together in building a positive, joyful, and supportive learning environment where everyone feels valued and inspired to grow.

School begins at 8:00 a.m. and dismisses at 12:00 p.m. on the first day. Aside from Late Start Wednesdays, when school starts at 9:30 a.m., we ask that all students arrive no later than 7:50 a.m. each day, ready to learn and lead.

This year brings much to celebrate! We are proud to expand our Mandarin Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program to include 5th grade. In addition, our school was recently recognized by the California PBIS Coalition with the Platinum Level Award for our commitment to Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Congratulations, Eagles!

Families and staff, thank you for your continued support and partnership. You play an essential role in your child’s learning journey, and together, we will make this a wonderful year of growth, leadership, and success. I look forward to an incredible school year ahead!
